Steps 1 You & Me 

This class focuses on introducing your little one (ages 18-24 months) to basic dance technique, terminology, and choreography with the comfort and joy of having you join in the experience. This class is designed to help develop your tiny dancers motor skills, rhythm, and listening skills, all while falling in love with the art of dance. This class is 45 minutes long. Ballet shoes required.

Steps 2-4 Ballet-Tap Combo
(separated by age)

This class is a great combination of ballet, tap, and creative movement that introduces your little one to basic dance technique, terminology and choreography through fun and engaging activities. This class is designed to help develop your tiny dancer's motor skills, rhythm, and independence. This class is 45 minutes long. Ballet and tap shoes required.

Steps 5 Ballet-Tap-Jazz Combo

This fun-filled ballet, tap, and jazz combo class is a great way for your 5 year old to express his or herself through the art of dance! This class focuses on teaching proper technique, musicality, and classroom etiquette with the new introduction of basic jazz steps as well. This class is one hour long. Ballet, tap and jazz shoes required.

Steps 6 Ballet-Tap-Jazz Combo

During this one hour class, equal focus will be given to jazz, tap, and ballet techniques. The class begins with jazz shoes on during warm up and stretching, and then flows into progressions across the floor. The same structure will be followed for the tap and ballet portion of class. In addition, each month the dancers will learn a short dance routine. Choreography will rotate monthly between jazz, tap, and ballet styles. Ballet, tap and jazz shoes required.

Tap 1 (7-9s) & Tap 2 (8-10s) 

During this 50 minute class we will dive into the art of tap dance. In addition, each month the dancers will learn a short dance routine. Tap shoes required.

What level is appropriate for my dancer? Dancers exiting Steps 6 or transferring from another studio should all register for Level 1. Dancers who are at least 8 years of age and have taken Tap at FSDP or another studio should register for Level 2.

Jazz 1 (7-9s) & Jazz 2 (8-10s) 

During this 50 minute class we will dive into the art of jazz dance. In addition, each month the dancers will learn a short dance routine. Jazz shoes required.

What level is appropriate for my dancer? Dancers exiting Steps 6 or transferring from another studio should all register for Level 1. Dancers who are at least 8 years of age and have taken Jazz at FSDP or another studio should register for Level 2.

Hip Hop 1 (6-8s) & Hip Hop 2 (8-10s) 

During this 50 minute class we will dive into the art of hip hop dance. In addition, each month the dancers will learn a short dance routine. Sneakers required.

What level is appropriate for my dancer? Dancers exiting Hippity Hop 5s or transferring from another studio should all register for Level 1. Dancers who are at least 8 years of age and have taken Hip Hop at FSDP or another studio should register for Level 2.

Hippity Hop (4s) & Hippity Hop (5s)

These engaging classes will introduce your young dancer to age appropriate hip hop movements. Emphasis will be placed on rhythm, expression and musicality. Classes are 45 minutes long. Sneakers required.
