Kelly Scott is a dance artist who graduated from The University of Utah in May of 2023, with a BFA in Modern Dance. She has worked with and performed in pieces by Charles O. Anderson, Natalie Desch, Alexandra Barbier, LajaMartin, Sara Pickett, and Whyteburg. 

Kelly also studied dance education. These courses taught her many skills that she applies to her own teaching. She really enjoys working with younger dancers and seeing each student's unique expressions. 

Rachel Heideman was born in England and began dancing when she was 2 years old. She trained in Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Jazz until she was 16 when she moved to earn her BA in Modern Ballet at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Upon graduation, Rachel moved to the USA to join Mystic Ballet (CT) as a company artist. In 2024, Rachel left Mystic Ballet and decided to shift her focus toward teaching. She is passionate about how dance can enrich our lives, especially in the development of young children. Rachel joined First Steps in 2024 and loves working and learning from Miss Lizzy!

Emma Sangorska has been dancing for 13 years and brings both passion and performance experience to the classroom. She spent six years competing in ballet, pointe, jazz, and contemporary, and performed at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) for three seasons. Emma began teaching with First Steps Dance Program in 2024 and is excited to continue sharing her love of dance with the next generation of young movers.

Evangelina "Eva" Gabrisko is pursuing her BA in Design at North Central College and has been dancing for 16 years. Trained at the American Dance Center in multiple styles, she has performed with ADC’s Vibrance Team, Providence Catholic’s Varsity Poms, and North Central’s Dance Team. She currently teaches with Tippi Toes and has danced with Rhythmic Souls Tap Company. Now in her second year at FSDP, Eva is excited to continue sharing her love of dance with her students.

Sylvie Baldwin is a dancer, actor and arts educator based in the Chicago suburbs. Before settling in Chicagoland, Sylvie taught dance at the University of Tampa and Center Stage Youth Theatre (Odessa, FL). Sylvie had the good fortune to train for twelve years under Anne Green Gilbert, the founder of Brain Compatible Dance Education, in Seattle, WA - an experience that shaped her teaching pedagogy and choreographic practice. Sylvie has danced with Poetica Dance Company (FL), Kaleidoscope Dance Company (WA) and Seattle Theatre Group (WA) - including touring across the United States and Europe.
