At Sea FSDP Recital
First Steps Dance Program invites you to join us at our 3rd annual recital At Sea. Thanks to so many wonderful students, parents, and caregivers; that make up this incredible community.
This recital allows your young dancer to show you a well-rehearsed routine that they have been working on for several months! This is an exciting time of year and we look forward to sharing it with you and your loved ones! All are welcome! Please see below for further information.

DATES: (must be present at both to participate)
Dress Rehearsal: May 31st (specific times to come)
Dance Recital: June 1st 10AMPM (Show 1), 1:30PM (Show 2)
LOCATION: McAninch Arts Center- 425 Fawell Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137
Costumes
$85/costume, per class
Costume fees are due March 1, 2024. Photos of the costumes will be posted at the studio. As a family friendly studio we ensure our kids are dressed like kids. All costumes are age appropriate with no midriffs shown on stage. Fittings will be performed during class.
Shoes and tights are not included in the costume fee. If your dancer already has the specified shoes and tights (in good condition), there is no need to purchase new ones for the show.
Hair + Make-up
Hair: our FSDP dancers can have any hairstyle they choose as long as their hair is pulled back away from their face.
Make up: to prevent our dancers from looking washed out on stage, he/she needs only blush and lip gloss. Mascara can be used if wanted.
Recording + Pictures
Class and individual photos of your dancer will be taken on May 19th at the FSDP Studio. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
As for recording, we ask that you only use your recording devices during dress rehearsal.
Tickets
Tickets: $20
Children 3 yrs. and under: FREE
Your dancer does not need a ticket as their costume is the price of admission- Ticket sales available to Family/Friends: Monday, April 22nd, 2024.
Tickets can be purchased on tututix.com. Seating is assigned.
